The 14 Best Sales Apps for Your Phone in 2024

Today’s salespeople are constantly on the move and with more people working remotely, mobile access to sales systems and applications have become a fundamental requirement to modern working.

Using mobile apps for work helps salespeople unlock productivity, access information, optimise their time, travel better and educate on the go. Here are our 14 favourite sales apps for 2020.

1. Zoom

Zoom is a cloud conferencing application with HD video, meeting encryption for added security, team chat, recording functionality and transcription. The app is perfect for those who want to take meetings on the move. Plus, you can get started for free. It’s downloadable on both iOS and Android.

2. Slack

The Slack chat app enables salespeople to keep in touch with colleagues and clients from their mobile device. It’s free to start and available on both iOS and Android.

3. Teams

Microsoft Teams is free for Office 365 users, and the mobile app enables you to chat and join/schedule meetings via your phone. Plus you can share and collaborate on work. It’s available on both iOS and Android.

4. Doc Scan

Simply snap a picture of a document on your phone, and get a nice, shiny PDF or JPG in exchange. It’s free and available on both iOS and Android.

5. LinkedIn

LinkedIn’s mobile app is free and available on iOS and Android. It means you can join face to face meetings after scouting the person’s LinkedIn profile first. Or, just network on the move!

6. Dropbox

Dropbox is great if you need to send and receive large files and you don’t have your laptop to hand. It’s available on both iOS and Android, and has a freemium model based on how many users and the size of storage you want.

7. Evernote

If you like to take notes on the go, or are attending a conference and need to make notes, Evernote is the perfect app. It’s free to start, available on iOS and Android, tags notes by location, and syncs across devices. Note-taking made easy.

8. Google Maps

An obvious one, but the Google Maps app is a life-saver to make sure you never lose track of where you are or where you need to be. Don’t be late for a meeting again! It’s free and available on iOS and Android.

9. Uber

Similar to above, the taxi app Uber is a life-saver for getting to exactly where you want to be, without having to take public transport or hailing a taxi. Uber also doesn’t require cash, plus you’ll get picked up from your exact location. It’s free and available on iOS, Android and Microsoft.

10. HubSpot

HubSpot’s mobile app (only applies if you use HubSpot) allows you to get your CRM information on the move. Plus, you can update records outside of the office, which is great after meetings or calls. Just add the information in from your phone. If you don’t use HubSpot CRM, see if your CRM provider has an app. The HubSpot app is free and is available on iOS, Chrome and Android.

11. DocuSign

DocuSign is free for both iOS and Android and makes signing a contract a piece of cake. The e-signature app enables you to get the prospect to sign the deal wherever, whenever, however. Easy.

12. Feedly

The Feedly app enables you to keep on top of the industry news when outside the office. You simply subscribe to your favourite blogs and news outlets and then peruse as you like. It starts off free and is available on iOS and Android.

13. Expensify

Expensify has you covered when it comes to filing expenses. Nobody wants to be carrying around hundreds of physical receipts. Expensify is available on iOS and Android, for a small monthly fee.

14. Pocket

If you don’t have time for reading or want to bookmark an interesting article to check out later, Pocket allows you to read stories at your own pace. It makes bookmarking easy, starts off free and is available on iOS and Android.

Try these apps to take productivity to the next level and help optimise your time on the road.
