Call for Nominations: Recognising Sales Influencers

The Growth Hub and National Sales Conference Launch sales influencer recognition programme

The Growth Hub and National Sales Conference have unveiled a new initiative to celebrate the most impactful voices in sales with the launch of the Top 100 Sales Influencers Index 2025

This index is designed to recognise outstanding individuals who use social media to shape, educate, and advance the sales profession through their digital presence and thought leadership.

In an industry first, the nominations will be driven by you, and the final selection process is based on comprehensive, data-based analysis, to ensure the most objective and transparent ranking system. The initiative kicked off at the National Sales Conference in Birmingham on November 14 with nominations open to the public at no cost.

“This index represents a significant milestone in acknowledging the digital transformation of sales leadership,” says Steve Lindsey, Event Director at The Growth Hub and National Sales Conference. “We’re excited to spotlight those who are actively shaping the future of sales through their social media influence.”

The selection criteria focus on professionals currently working in sales, business development, or customer engagement roles within the UK and Ireland, with a minimum benchmark of 3,000 followers. Nominations will be evaluated based on three key metrics:

  • Follower count and audience size
  • Engagement levels, including mentions, shares, and impressions
  • Overall reach and impact of content

Industry professionals are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals or submit self-nominations. The nomination process has been streamlined to be quick and straightforward, requiring only basic information and social media URLs.

Can I nominate more than one person?

Yes, but please complete a separate nomination form for each nominee.

Can I nominate customers or partners of mine?

Yes, as long as they satisfy the selection criteria.

When should I nominate?

Nominations for the Top 100 Sales Influencers Index 2025 have already opened, and closes on 28th February.

What happens after nominations?

Once the submissions window closes, the final list will be given to our independent partners running the Top 100 Sales Influencers Index campaign. They will analyse the nominations based on followers, engagement and reach.

The initial Top 100 will be revealed, unranked on 2nd April 2025. The final rankings will be announced on 3rd July 2025 at the Evening of Sales Influence in London. The initiative culminates in a prestigious awards ceremony at the National Sales Awards in Birmingham, where the number one ranked influencer will be honored on stage.

What are the benefits of nominating?

Finalists will gain enhanced personal brand visibility among industry leaders and decision-makers, as well as validation as a thought leader in the sales community.

It’s a great platform platform to share expertise and insights with a wider audience

And get recognition from peers and industry leaders as a digital pioneer in sales.

Finalists will be rewarded with tickets to the National Sales Conference and National Sales Awards in Birmingham and the Evening of Sales Influence in London. If this is not enough, they will also be featured on The Growth Hub Sales Toolkit and as part of The Growth Hub’s Finalist Showcase Page. There will also be exclusive interviews with the Top 10 and Spotlight Prize Winners.
