Mental Health In Sales Series

Stella Round is back with another edition of Mental Health in Sales, along with Gina Burjah, LV and Olly Magnus, Magnus Group, who will be sharing their stories on how mental health has affected them and what we can all do to ensure we are staying mentally fit.

For Gina, mental health isn’t particularly understood in the Asian community, which impacted her own journey of ups and downs, following childhood trauma and bereavement. She will share how this affected her and the work we can do to make mental health more understandable and visible in all communities.

On the other side of the coin, Olly Magnus is a man who seems to have it all – a thriving company, award winning business director and busy social life, but what we love about Olly is he posts the highs and the lows, because a busy social media profile often only shows one side. He’ll be sharing how his mental health has affected him and why talking is so important.

Gina said ‘Your story may just change someone’s life’ and that’s exactly why we run the Mental Health series, because sharing stories raises awareness, helps understanding and creates a community of people committed to supporting mental health.

Awareness around mental health has definitely improved, but steps still need to be taken to stem the devasting effect on those who suffer. Checking in on people to see how they are doing, seems simple but is sometimes difficult to do!
